Initial results from the cost-benefits survey on the Philippines
The first results from a survey of the costs and benefits of company-based training on the Philippines were presented at the 3rd Regional VET Conference in Laos and at a Stakeholder Workshop in Manila. They were met with considerable interest and were the object of controversial discussion.
BIBB in partnership with K to 12 Plus Project, Technical Education & Skills Development Authority and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry conducted its first TVET Monitoring Workshop with the goal of improving the current monitoring system of TVET in the country.

The nationally successful “Digital media in VET” roadshow has now also made its international debut. BIBB and Asia-based VET stakeholders presented examples of good practice at the specialist trade fair „Worlddidac Asia“ in Bangkok.

The BIBB supports its co-operation partner, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) in their preparation of a cost-benefit analysis, thereby supporting the Philippine government's reform of the education system.
