Hydrogen – Demand for Skilled Workers – Vocational Education and Training

CO2 emissions are a thing of the past –decarbonisation begins now. A successful technical conversion of our economy and achievement of long-term climate policy goals can only succeed with well-qualified skilled workers. Two projects funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) are investigating how the use of hydrogen technologies will change the quantitative demand for skilled workers and which new qualification requirements can be expected in the affected training occupations.
