Andreas Ehlert is President of the Chamber of Trades in Düsseldorf and Handwerk.NRW – the umbrella organisation of Crafts in North Rhine-Westphalia. In his role, he represents the interests of 195,000 craft businesses with more than 1.1 million employees and 80,000 trainees. The trained chimney sweep master runs his own business in Düsseldorf which trains apprentices regularly.

Prof. Dr. Dirk Messner, President of the German Environment Agency, Dessau
The internationally renowned sustainability scientist Prof. Dr. Dirk Messner is President of the German Environment Agency (UBA). Previously, he was director of the Institute for Environment and Human Security at the United Nations University and the German Institute of Development and Sustainability in Bonn, as well as Co-chairman of the German Federal Government’s Advisory Council on Global Change.
Prof. Dr. Sabine Pfeiffer, Professor of Sociology at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg
Sabine Pfeiffer is Professor of Sociology (Technology – Work – Society) at the Friedrich Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. She has been researching the digital transformation of work since the mid-1990s. She acts as the spokesperson for the priority programme 2267 “The Digitalisation of Working Worlds” at the German Research Foundation (DFG). She is a member of the World of Work Council at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) and also sat on the Research Council of the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) for many years.
