ReferNet – The European information network on VET
The ReferNet network on vocational education and training is the European hub for information on the national VET systems of the EU Member States and their VET policies; Norway and Iceland are also involved. The ReferNet team at BIBB coordinates network activities in Germany.
ReferNet Germany
The network
- provides a comparative insight into the diversity of VET systems in Europe through its reports,
- is the central source for European monitoring of VET policy developments,
- promotes cooperation and the continuous exchange of information between European countries.
The national partners in the network
- prepare relevant information and data for national and European actors in politics, research and the professional public,
- publish these regularly in country reports or online tools,
- work together with Cedefop, the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training.
The ReferNet team at BIBB also offers twice a month a newsletter service that briefly highlights many interesting activities on the topic of vocational training in Europe and beyond. You can subscribe to it here:
