BIBB Recognition Monitoring Council
The task of the Project Council, the members of which are experts, is to provide guidance on the development of issues and on the technical implementation of the monitoring process. Outcomes achieved are discussed by this committee and may also be fed back into implementation and regulation practice by the members of the Council. In addition to this, the Council assists the mutual exchange of information and networking on developments of relevance to monitoring and the enforcement of the Recognition Act.
The following institutions have representatives who sit on the Project Council:
- Working Group of the federal state departments responsible for coordinating the recognition of professional and vocational qualifications acquired abroad (“Coordinating Departments Working Group”)
- Occupations Committee of the Working Group of the Supreme Healthcare Authorities of the Federal States (AOLG)
- Federal Employment Agency (BA) – Migration Coordination Agency
- German Federal Association of the Liberal Professions (BFB)
- Federal Association of German Employer Associations (BDA)
- German Confederation of Trade Unions (DGB)
- Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK)
- Specialist Agency for counselling and qualification of the “Integration through Training” (IQ) Network
- Foreign Skills Approval Competence Centre of the Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHK FOSA)
- Cologne Institute for Economic Research (IW) for the Portal for Foreign Professional Qualifications” (BQ Portal)
- Association of the Chambers of Agriculture (VLK)
