Visit by experts from Belgium as part of Erasmus+
Nine experts from different education and training providers within the French-speaking community in Belgium visited the BIBB as part of the Erasmus+ project, Alter+, from 23 to 25 September 2015.
The aim of the study visits was to gain a better understanding of the German education and training system. This focussed on three training occupations: hairdresser, roofer and motor vehicle mechatronics technician.
Besides general information regarding the education and training system, participants also received a detailed presentation from BIBB employees from different specialist departments covering the occupations selected, and also relating to specific issues such as permeability and quality in vocational education and training. Participants also had the chance to talk to representatives from the Chambers of Crafts and Trades for Cologne and also to talk to trainees and specialist workers in training as part of a company visit to RKG Rheinische Kraftwagen GmbH & Co KG based in Bonn.
