Literacy

The objective of the “2016-2026 National Decade for Literacy and Basic Education” is to increase reading and writing skills and to raise the basic educational level of adults in Germany. A broad alliance comprising the Federal Government, the federal states and societal groups have come together as partners to implement the project.
