Reports on German Recognition Act now available in English
With the English translation of all three Reports on the German Recognition Act (2014-2016) a comprehensive overview of the procedure for the recognition of foreign professional and occupational qualifications and its latest developments can be presented to an international audience.
The Report on the Recognition Act has been published annually by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) since 2014. In collaboration with the project team monitoring the implementation of the Federal Recognition Act at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) these reports highlight important data and facts of the recognition procedure. It presents central findings of the monitoring of the implementation of the Federal Recognition Act.
While the first report from 2014 presents a general overview of the recognition procedure, the following two reports focus on opportunities created by the Recognition Act and the latest changes to the recognition regulations bringing about a necessary standardisation of administrative practice.
More detailed research results regarding the impact of the Recognition Act will be presented in 2017 in a separate evaluation report.
