Human resource development involves the design and introduction at BIBB of precisely tailored staff development instruments such as employee appraisal meetings. Further tasks include the identification of further training requirements, management of the annual continuing training programme and evaluation of training provision conducted. There is a focus is on creating opportunities for advancement, on implementing internal management staff development and on offering coaching and teamwork training as and when required. The human resource development team also assists the HR Department in its management selection process by staging assessment centres.
