VET Repository
The VET Repository provided by the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) is the central research and publication tool for vocational education and training literature. It systematically documents the German-language specialist literature on all aspects of vocational education and training and VET research published since 1988.
The core component of the VET Repository is the previous Vocational Education and Training Literature Database (LDBB), which was transferred to the VET Repository in 2019. In addition to literature references, the VET Repository also contains an ever-growing stock of Open Access publications. The VET Repository lists more than 67,000 literature references. Of these, around 18,000 are linked to the corresponding full texts or stored directly in the VET Repository.
You can use the literature search to search the holdings of the VET Repository as well as those of the library.
Main topics
Aiming to make the vocational education and training literature easier to locate and access, not only monographs, but also articles from journals and edited volumes relating to VET research are selected and their content indexed in the VET Repository. The focus here is on the following topic areas:
