The Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) will be presenting comprehensive information on current topics in VET and on ongoing research and development work at its trade fair stand at the “didacta” in Cologne from 16 to 20 February 2016. Experts from BIBB and the institute’s online portals will be on hand in at Stand A034/B035 in Hall 9.1 to offer guidance on themes such as the internationalisation of vocational education and training, the funding of VET staff, securing the supply of skilled workers and the Federal Government Vocational Orientation Programme.
At the neighbouring “Vocational Training Forum” (Hall 9.1, Stand A 036/B039), which is being jointly staged by the Didacta Association and the Educational Media Association, specialists will be providing practical ideas and tips on a multitude of current VET topics in the form of interviews, podium debates, workshops and personal discussions.
On the Saturday of the fair (20 February), visitors to the “Vocational Training Forum” will have the chance to experience and complete a specially designed adventure trail. “Try five! – Use your five senses to explore your future” is an interactive vocational orientation activity which is aimed at young people in particular and enables them to discover which occupations are suitable for them.
